Libraries to assist with registrations for local shellfishers
Minister of Tourism and Culture Robert Henderson looks on as O'Leary librarian Corinne Peters guides shellfishers Duncan Knox and Loman MacLean through their online license applications.

Staff at local public libraries are offering assistance to shellfishers who may not have access to a computer at home, or have had little experience filling out online applications.

This online exhibit, a joint Project of the Public Library Service and Public Archives and Records Office, was created to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the O'Leary Public Library, which opened its doors on March 1st, 1934.
