Education, Early Learning and Culture Minister Doug Currie congratulates Hackmatack Children's Choice Book Award nominees Sharon E. McKay, author of 'The End of the Line' and Dave Atkinson, author of 'Wereduck'.

Several Canadian authors will visit Prince Edward Island schools and libraries over the coming weeks in conjunction with the Hackmatack Children's Choice Book Award and TD Canadian Children's Book Week (May 7-14). French author Carole Tramblay will also be visiting six French Public Library Service locations and schools from May 16-18.

Join several of the writers shortlisted for the PEI Book Awards as they read from their work, answer questions, and sign copies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5th at the Confederation Centre Public Library.
